Product Manager, Aylesbury, £40,000 - £50,000 Attractive Benefits and a great place to work An exciting opportunity for a dynamic Product Manager with experience launching new product categories The position is initially a 12 month contract but with a view to permanent and the Brand is growing… This client offers a fast pace, exciting and creative working environment. A heritage brand known for excellent quality As the Product Manager you will be responsible for New Product Development as well as existing product portfolios; working directly with UK and Far East manufacturers. The role has the benefit of reporting to a respected Head of Marketing who is willing and ready to offload her knowledge and invest in the right candidate. You will also be responsible for providing market insights, sales analysis and financial reporting including support for brand communications. Help manage the NPD introduction of products Develop new product collateral including photography, manuals and packaging Identify market gaps, competitor benchmarking Maintain and update product data, keeping product information up-to-date, including websites, data sheets and merchandising plans Project manage with portfolio productivity optimisation including management of discontinuations and driving cost reductions Full Profit & Losses ownership/responsibility, build information for Gate process, including financial analysis of product costs and margins for new and existing products Monitor and track any quality issues and manage consumer feedback in relation to product reviews and feed this information back into the business Develop competitor & market research, performance, evaluation and gap analysis, and report insights Experience required: B2C Product Management/ Product Marketing / NPD A Creative Flair with the ability to think outside the box Educated to a degree level preferably in Marketing Keywords : Product Manager, Product Management, Product Specialist, Product Marketing, product development, Product launch, NPD, Go to market strategy, product launch Locations: Aylesbury, Thame, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire Prestige Appointments are a Recruitment Agency providing permanent resourcing and selection services to employers throughout the UK.
