Overview
Our client are a major full service Media Agency based in Central London. Considered one of the best agencies in town, they have a superb client base and reputation in the industry. A new position with the Media Analytics team, the agency are looking to recruit a Senior Analyst to mentor and lead a small team of econometricians. The role would ideally suit someone looking to make the step up into a manager role, or an individual looking to further develop their management experience. A hands-on role, in addition to managing and coaching a small team, the successful applicant will be working across a broad portfolio of projects and clients; delivering key insights for clients through the elegant use of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and econometric modelling techniques. We are looking for someone with a media analysis background, likely gained within a media agency or media evaluation consultancy. You'll be an absolute whizz with Excel (pivot tables / vlookups / macros, VBA, etc) and be comfortable generating dashboards and delivering reports. You'll have experience using one of the main statistical analysis tools (EViews, QED, Stata, SPSS, etc), be familiar with SQL and ideally will have some exposure to data science tools such as Python or R. Essential Requirements: Media effectiveness / analytics background (likely 4 years plus), gained within a media agency, media evaluation consultancy or client side. Expertise in econometric / MMM modelling to look at media performance across all media channels. Familiarity with statistical analysis software (Eviews / Stata / etc) Well developed communication and relationship building skills Data visualisation & dashboarding Able to work well with other team members with strong interest in mentoring and leading others Task focused; able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines across a range of client requirements Comfortable managing client relationships and explaining complex analytics to non-technical key stakeholders This is a superb opportunity for a media analyst who is looking to develop their management experience and technical skills whilst working on major clients within a leading media agency 'name.'
