Marketing and Business Development Coordinator - Sectors We are searching for an experienced Marketing and Business Development Coordinator - Sectors Overall job purpose RSM UK is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to support our sector team. You will be integral to the delivery of the strategic markteing and buisness activity across our six core sector groups. Taking a national view, you will be a key part of the sector team, working with the heads of each sector, wider marketing team, and other key staff and partners to ensure the firm effectively positions its expertise, adds value to clients and acquires quality new business and clients. The national marketing and business development team works across the entire firm to drive strategic business development and marketing initiatives. The team produce topical, insightful marketing campaigns, content and activity that support the firm in reaching their growth targets and the person who fills this role will play a pivotal part in delivering these. This role has a national remit. Responsibilities Marketing and Communications Be a brand advocate for the sectors ensuring that all communications are brand compliant Support the core sector heads in helping to deliver strategic, issues driven campaigns Assist with proof reading content for campaigns, collateral and website Assist with the delivery of events and campaigns, taking responsibility for the administration and management where required Support the development of credentials and marketing collateral Maintain and update the service line website and intranet pages Write high quality, effective internal communications, including intranet content, with and on behalf of the sector heads. Build relationships with the wider BD & marketing teams, including digital, PR, brand and internal comms Champion the use of social media across the sectors to raise awareness of RSM, actively posting updates and setting an example for Partners Business Development Build a strong understanding of the Dynamics365 CRM system, understanding how the system works in conjunction with marketing and business development initiatives Assisting, with the preparation of research and supporting targeting activity Assisting with the development and maintenance of materials to support business development, such as up to date sector bid information and testimonials Support the delivery of approved business development plans, regularly checking progress and ensuring plans are delivered within budget Industry knowledge / general responsibilities Build an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Marketing, the firm’s email marketing system Assist with third party relationships where needed Be proactive in developing knowledge of local market place and marketing innovations Assist with other national and regional marketing and business development projects as required You will at times, be required to work on projects for other sectors and service lines as required Personal and professional qualities We are looking for an eager, proactive and passionate person who is looking to further their learning and experience, within a dynamic team and growing business. You will be comfortable working with, and influencing senior stakeholders, and have a passion for challenging how things have been done before. The role requires: Excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively. A desire to work within professional services. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and at times under pressure. A team-player, proactive and self-motivated. Marketing related degree/qualification desired, but not essential.
