Search no more… The role of Event Producer serves as the lead for meeting, event and conference delivery covering all areas of project scope under the Senior Producer, covering scheduling, budget, resourcing and/or billable components. The position provides consistent and effective management, focused on client engagement and management. With specific oversight of project targets and individual project deliverables. Ensuring the agency delivers quality work on time, and on budget that meets or exceeds client expectations. The Event Producer is responsible for the client relationship as well as leading the production team and all event components working with event logistics where necessary. More on the role of Event Producer: Roles & responsibilities Engage and manage the client relationships Lead the creative response to a clients specific event needs from initial pitch to delivery and reconciliation Support sales/account services at the outset of a new project, proposal or pitch to help define the framework of the project for core team members. Represent the business at client meetings and along with sales teams provide consultative input on business development activity Collaborate with creative directors, sales/account manager, technical staff, producers, writers and designers to produce high quality live events across a range of media Build strategic relationships with customers, internal staff and external partners to enhance the business, increase revenue and develop innovative product offerings for clients Lead a collaborative team assembled of creative, technical, production, and outside vendors to ensure all work exceeds clients’ expectations profitably within budget In partnership with account services, effectively and responsively lead project-specific communication with the client and ensure a consistent and professional client experience Escalate event production and team management issues to management as appropriate Actively seek feedback from teams and discipline leads for improving relationships and sharing best practices At the culmination of projects reconcile & evaluate outcomes and insights learned Work collaboratively with assigned project teams across disciplines Maintain a high degree of professionalism, courtesy and honesty Manage the overall budget and scheduling of assigned projects in collaboration with individual project staff, sales/account staff, creative and technical Work with project teams to develop the creative approach and identify the components of each event, identify and create event planning estimates for projects, produce schedule and resource requirements, ensuring programs are properly budgeted, estimated, and scheduled Oversee creative, logistics and technical production of all events With the Technical Production Manager define and facilitate AV and staging needs including all technical staff requirements, presentation show flow and music/lighting/video Create detailed onsite schedules for all activities Travel for site inspections, clients presentations and onsite event production Maintain job/project data o Audit project financials on a weekly basis and submit changes to Accounting as necessary o Confirm accuracy of internal labour charges o Confirm accuracy of Purchase Orders (and markups) o Provide weekly financial dashboard updates to management o Submit consolidated report indicating Estimated Final income/Expenditure on all projects Projected o cost-to-complete for all jobs "In Production" o Attend/participate in production group meetings o Attend weekly Resource Scheduling meeting and provide required anticipated staffing needs Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures Embrace the companies mission and values Manage both general documentation and brand guidelines for all projects Perform project administration such as component production status, schedules, resource requests, budget management and client reporting Requirements of the Event Producer: University degree a plus Experience of proven, hands-on event planning and logistics management, Agency experience preferred Experience working on high-profile FTSE 100 global events/clients Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment, under tight deadlines Excellent team building skills Must be highly motivated Ability to travel and work flexible hours Must have a valid passport and driver’s license Please contact us straight away to apply This role would also suit: Event Producer, Producer, Programme Manager, Senior Programme Manager, Events Programme Manager, Events Senior Programme Manager, Assistant Programme manager, Programme Co-ordinator, Head of Programming, Head of Production, Conference Manager, Conference Producer, Events Manager Conferences, Conferences Manager, Conference Programme Manager Conference Production Manager, Senior Producer, Assistant Producer
