Overview
Marketing Manager (customer engagement) Portsmouth Job Role In this role you will design the customer experience, engaging target customer groups through content, PR, event strategy and driving demand within them, managing company brand and communications. You will be accountable for the delivery and execution of events, PR content and overarching communications strategy. You will have some budget responsibility and manage two direct reports. Responsibilities Customer journey design In-depth understanding of market landscape in chosen focus segments and target customers In-depth understanding of company competitive position Creation of marketing personas jointly with Insights manager Analysis of customer journey and customer experience design across all touch points (in collaboration with cross functional team) Customer Engagement Creating communications strategy and marketing campaigns aimed to engage audiences and drive demand into the sales channel Jointly with Channel marketing manager establish joint activities with Channels that are aimed at creating market pull Analyse and measure success of campaigns Communications Creating value proposition messages & supporting communication strategy for end customer groups Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including (jointly with Digital Marketing Executive) online and social media Content strategy Event and PR strategy Supporting Channel Marketing Manager with assets, materials, aids, presentations Creating and managing promotional collateral Assisting with new product launches Brand Management Brand positioning Managing style guides & brand guidelines Trademark management Growth hacker marketing: finding low cost but highly effective and measurable ways to drive demand Professional Skills: 3 years relevant management experience working in fast-paced Marketing team Degree educated with CIM qualified or equivalent qualifications in Marketing or PR Experience in the management and development of personnel Experience of working within a highly professional customer focused environment Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills Comfortable dealing with the media and good media relations skills Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively -internally at all levels within the organisation and externally with suppliers, media and customers Ability to understand and communicate technical details effectively Organised and able to work independently, prioritise workloads and manage multiple conflicting deadlines Proactive and ability to take responsibility for work and tasks Works well within a team, has a positive 'can do' attitude and a drive to succeed as a team Adobe Suite experience Experience of CRM and MDM software Experience of strategic content marketing and can evidence delivery against the strategy Experience of managing large Marketing budgets
