Who are Metapack? We are a tech company that works with a lot of the world’s biggest ecommerce players to integrate them with over 450 carriers around the world to make delivery easy. We are a multi-tenant SaaS platform. We give them the platform to help consumers decide their delivery preference and track the parcel’s progress whilst also providing the retailer with intelligent smart decisions about how to send the parcel - all underpinned with lots of data. We work with well-known global retailers and major brands such as ASOS, Adidas, Burberry, John Lewis, Boohoo, eBay, and Zalando. In fact, we work with so many retailers and carriers it’s highly likely that you’ve interacted with us at some point when ordering goods online In August 2018, we were acquired by Fortune 100’s 2nd fastest growing company, stamps.com. We have super ambitious and exciting plans all centred around our tech. Metapack will play a role in shipping around 600 million parcels in 2018 and with the wider stamps.com family the number rises to 2.5bn parcels. Metapack has been growing at 40% year on year over the last 5 years and continues to grow at a rapid rate. Why would I want to be a Content Manager at Metapack? Are you looking for an opportunity to create world class content where you can really let your creative juices flow, then this maybe the role you have been waiting for We are looking for an innovative Content Marketer who will create and deliver copy for marketing collateral and the Metapack website, to support our global and regional campaigns. Our content will be at the forefront of driving engagement with the Metapack brand, platform and technologies, and addressing our global target audiences across the full buying cycle. Our content should act as a beacon to our technology platform and create excitement in the market. If you loved creating it, people will love reading it. This role will necessitate collaboration with a high number of internal Metapack stakeholders, such as Product Management and Sales as well as collaboration with other marketing functions including Digital, PR, Design and Field Marketing. With there being no one else in the team solely dedicated to writing copy, you must be self-sufficient with ability to influence and have the necessary gravitas required. You will focus on creating strong content that effectively promotes the MetapackSaaS platform by creating opportunities to engage and influence our communities and customers. Differentiation is key, which is why the successful candidate will need to deeply understand our competitor efforts, the wider eCommerce and Delivery management industries, as well as monitor content marketing best practices to make sure Metapack is at the forefront of debates on major business issues. What would I be doing? Creating promotional, long and short form content for each stage of the B2B technology buying cycle (awareness consideration and purchase), personas and marketing channels Collaborating with the inhouse designer to ensure content is brought to life in an engaging and innovative way Working closely with the regional marketing managers to ensure that content created is fit for purpose and localised where necessary Executing against a content marketing calendar, in line with the global marketing plan Working with the inhouse designer to develop systems and processes to support and improve how content is produced and delivered Balancing business and marketing requirements, with superb stakeholder management and influencing skills to change attitude, behaviour and ultimately investment decisions that optimize commercial outcomes from Metapack’s content campaigns Defining and tracking key content metrics around content production, engagement and campaign performance What key skills and experience do I need? Marketing professional with at least 5 years’ global marketing copywriting experience Understand the different tonalities and audiences used for creating copy based on personas, sales cycles and channels Strong experience writing whitepapers and reports, copy for SEO, blog posts, case studies and more Recent demonstrable expertise in creating global marketing collateral for a technology-based business (SaaS preferred) Exceptional stakeholder relationship managementExperience gained from working at a commercially focused business and being
