Overview

Events and Marketing Coordinator Permanent, Full time contract (part-time working requests considered) Salary up to £31k Extensive Benefits (listed below) Location - Central London An exciting opportunity to join the events team of a well respected UK based Association. Our client needs an events and marketing coordinator to work across varied internal and external events from initial planning through to on-site delivery. These include member engagement meetings, networking receptions, dinners and external exhibitions and conferences. You will also assist with the marketing of this growing portfolio of B2B conferences, seminars and training days. Duties: Manage logistics and stand at industry Exhibitions and Shows Planning and delivery of free-to-attend member engagement events (dinners, networkig events & socials) Organise 'all staff’ parties (approx. 2 per annum) including a prestigious anniversary party Deliver marketing support for commercial events Keep up to date with current industry issues and competitor activity Work closely with wider teams, including Member Services, Communications and Marketing Occasional travel may be required i.e. Annual Convention, meetings, events Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a B2B or corporate events environment Experience of planning events, such as networking receptions, dinners, exhibitions, internal meetings and staff parties Email marketing experience (preferred but not essential) Good IT skills, includes Microsoft Office Previous use of CMS, CRM, email marketing system (desirable) Good educational qualifications Knowledge of an Association/Membership organisation (desirable) Skills Well organised, able to plan workload and coordinate projects simultaneously Self-motivated and pro-active worker Good communication skills - confident manner, able to deal with enquiries from senior delegates, senior staff and negotiate with suppliers Good attention to detail A team player, ability to understand and communicate company ethos. Additional information Our client is a UK based Associations. The company has a team of around 90 people, who has been with the company since 2005. The office is based in London, near London Bridge.
