About our client The Birmingham office of an international creative agency is on the lookout for an exceptionally talented Deputy Creative Director to join them, strengthening and growing their already brilliant team Across their office network, in the UK and abroad, they employ over two hundred people; brilliant creatives, account handlers, artworkers and strategists that work together to turn their clients' ambitions into reality. They work with an array of big brands, with both a consumer and b2b remit and create impactful multi -channel communications across digital, print and video with a focus on enabling their big brand clients to connect and engage with their key stakeholders telling their brand story in an authentic and open way. About the role You'll be working within the agencies brilliant creative team, small but perfectly formed - you'd be overseeing a team of three designers (junior to senior), mentoring and guiding them day to day and supporting their personal development. You'll also be client facing - a key part of this role is working with clients to understand their vision and values, their challenges and successes and using this to come up with creative work that exceeds expectations every time. The work they do isn't run of the mill, it's insight driven and impactful and they are continuing to develop their offering, particularly within the Birmingham team and this role is key to that growth. You'll also have the opportunity to remain hands on, doing what you love to do - creating beautiful work Who we're looking for This agency needs a candidate that is working at a senior level, with a branding or integrated design background you'll be already working with B2B clients to create brand concepts and comms strategy, presenting work and pitching ideas to clients with a commercial and creative approach. Prior line management isn't essential, but you need to be a natural leader, capable to stepping up into a management role, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve brilliance.
