DEPARTMENT: Special Projects LOCATION: East Croydon JOB TYPE: Permanent / Full-time GREEN NETWORK ENERGY (GNE) Green Network Energy is a new independent energy and gas supplier in the UK for both domestic and business customers. The company is part of an Italian Headquartered Group, Green Network Spa based in Rome since 2003 Green Network is a top 10 Independent energy company in Europe with annual revenues of over €2billion. As a company with big ambitions to grow, we are looking to recruit new talent to be part of our journey. ROLE As our Marketing Automation Specialist, you will support the implementation of the CRM communications strategy in the UK, focusing on B2C and B2B campaigns. Initially, you will support our customer communications plan however the role has the scope to grow alongside the implementation of our Salesforce project to develop a UK-centric CRM strategy for all customer touchpoints (email, web, social media). RESPONSIBILITIES To define customers touchpoints and related email communications for both lifecycle and trigger communications, ensuring timely and consistent messaging; To manage vendor relationships and to budget for customer communications (B2B & B2C) whilst working alongside the Email Service Provider (ESP) to develop greater personalisation; To report, analyse and provide insight in order to optimize campaigns To improve the performance of email marketing in terms of deliverability, open and click through rates, conversions, increased revenue and decreased unsubscribe rates; To create and implement testing strategies for subject lines, content and promotional activities, leading to performance improvement and relevancy of the email programmes; To manage and maintain the Data dictionary for email communications. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Experience in management of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio etc.); Expertise in Salesforce DMP, Interaction Studio and Advertising Studio is desirable Good knowledge of SQL and AmpScript Basic understanding of HTML & CSS Data mining, analysis and reporting (including web analytics) to enhance campaign performance; Proven expertise in customer-facing email or in an eCRM role with design, segmentation, and testing skills; Email marketing background, with the ability to write custom segmentation queries, either through the email service provider's (ESP's) interface or offline tools; Proven ability to create and execute commercially-driven customer communication strategies.
