Title: English speaking Head of Digital Operations (Travel &Tourism) Salary: Up to £80K plus benefits (pension, health and life insurance) Languages: Fluent English. Any additional knowledge of Chinese is an advantage. The company has a Chinese-based head office and you will need to communicate with China regularly. About the Role The company is looking for a dynamic leader to grow and develop the digital footprint of the company and bring in new initiatives to improve the business efficiency and performance of their online platforms. Duties Help to define and develop the digital platforms of the brand across its website and mobile apps; Work closely with IT and Sales and Marketing teams on product development; Manage the full integration of the new system so that it adapts easily into the existing IT infrastructure and operations; Establish guidelines and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures); Constantly test and measure the efficiency of all internal process; Research, develop and maintain relationship with vendors to ensure the digital platforms are running smoothly and meeting the needs of both customers and internal teams; Use insights and analysis collected from the platforms to further improve the performance and efficiency of the digital platforms; Stay up to date on latest trends and technologies around online platforms, AI and big data; Build on your business insights relating to the Chinese travel market Essential Requirements Degree educated; Fluent spoken and written English; Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably within a matrix organisation. It would be nice to have Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin); Previous experience of working within travel and tourism.
