Overview
Senior New Product Development Manager Up to £55,000 DOE We are looking for an experienced NPD / New Product Development Manager for a leading brand food manufacturer based in Edinburgh. They are looking for an experienced foodservice New Product Development Manager to join their team: a hands-on development person who will also lead the NPD Technologists within the team. Job role experience within the food industry is essential for applicants to have, with experience in bakery, short shelf life or health food products being very advantageous also. You will be looked upon to lead a creative and enthusiastic team whose remit is to develop new product ideas entirely from scratch. You must have done this before, and be someone who is constantly researching competitors and their products, and experimenting with ingredients and functionality to stimulate new ideas. You will be leading a successful NPD team whose sole remit is to develop from scratch new product ideas that build upon and are in-line with the company brand & then successfully launch them into the factory.
