Overview

The role will be responsible for the coordination of production and dissemination of high quality marketing portfolio to support reputation and enable brand building. You will have the ability to contribute and work effectively across a number of teams, and enhance the development of marketing communications plans. The role requires a highly organised, creative individual with excellent copywriting skills, to write and coordinate the production and timely delivery of key digital marketing and print collateral. Focusing primarily on accommodation activities and campaigns, the role holder will ensure the collateral aligns and enhances the brand, reputation and identity of the company. Working closely with the web and design studio teams, the role will coordinate the creation of all content including photography/video content for specific campaigns and publications, website and open day collateral. The role will need to ensure content is both in line with the strategic objectives and is engaging and appropriate for the target audience. Must be flexible to work 37.5 hours over a 5/7 dayshift pattern to meet business requirements. Main Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate the creation of key marketing content Working to operational project plans, provide accurate and engaging copy of a standard that will ensure the effective production of a variety of marketing communications. Work with the Design Studio to develop high quality visual content, focused on relevant audiences. Take ownership of relevant webpages and ensure they are developed regularly in line with audience needs Evaluate and monitor the annual marketing, and printing budgets. To monitor the budget spend and seek advice from Line Manager and Chief Operating Officer if there are any concerns relating to agreed budget. To manage and maintain the internal portal sites, ensuring they have the relevant materials and documents uploaded to ensure they are compliant with appropriate legislation To produce and maintain the annual content plan To work with colleagues to ensure value for money on paid advertising and to ensure webpages maximise SEO/are highly ranked. Working with colleagues in to monitor the effectiveness of social media activities/campaigns Lead the development and implementation of communication plans for internal communications. Undertake or coordinate market research, web analysis and competitor analysis to inform and review the success of both planned and current print and online collateral. To arrange photography to add to the existing portfolios. PERSON SPECIFICATION Relevant degree or equivalent experience. Experience of working in a similar marketing role. Content writing, editing and photography/video coordination experience. Experience in content project planning and identifying target audiences, devising content that engages, informs and motivates Excellent editing, proofing and writing skills Experience of working with web content management systems (cms).
