Overview
Job Description
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? When the future is full fibre, it's faster, more affordable and better connected. We're the leading provider of this alternative network infrastructure, building Gigabit cities from the ground up. These cities support mobile operators, businesses and homes, helping them to develop and grow at an accelerated pace. With your ambitious ideas, you'll reduce costs and communicate the benefits of a super-fast network for a super-connected society. With a salary of 43,000 - 53,000 depending on experience, you'll also receive benefits including 25 days holiday, a day off on your birthday, car allowance, discretionary bonus and private healthcare. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? As our Regional Marketing Manager, you'll be a key player within CityFibre, leading city marketing regionally and locally by raising brand awareness, creating strong relationships, driving service take-up and growing our stakeholder base. Supported by a small team of Regional Marketing Executives, you'll lead your own cities to develop and execute local marketing and communications plans. It's important that the success and return on investment for all activities is monitored, using available data to understand city performance, analyse results and therefore develop and implement tactical plans to deliver positive change. You will work closely with our regional network of City Managers, who are all embedded in their respective cities and will provide guidance on local issues, groups and opportunities. Working with our Central City Marketing function you'll help ensure brand consistency and lead in the creation of resources, templates and best practice, including collateral, brand identity and messaging, PR, social media, and construction communications. You'll provide local messaging and market expertise for centrally run campaigns, also localising central collateral and marketing plans with city specific messaging to ensure brand consistency while resonating with local audiences. You must be prepared to travel throughout the region, and further afield. At the present time our live cities in the midlands include Coventry, Northampton, Leicester, Derby and Wolverhampton. However, CityFibre is a rapidly growing company with clear expansion plans and it is likely that this list will at least double in the very near future. WHAT WILL YOU BRING? You'll have a proven track record in creating, managing and efficiently executing marketing campaigns and communications plans to generate leads and raise brand profile in both a B2B and B2C environment (ideally within the telecoms or technology sectors). We are a fast-paced organisation, therefore flexibility and the ability to collaborate across the business and many varying teams is required, including supporting, coaching, and potentially line-managing a small team as well as juggling multiple projects against tight deadlines. You'll also need: * Effective management of external stakeholder relationships * Strong verbal communication and copy writing skills * Strong team player * Excellent knowledge of the region and cities in which you operate * Experience of managing budgets * The ability to manage people within a matrix management structure * A strong level of entrepreneurship / taking initiative * Aptitude to build strong working relationships * The flexibility to travel to project cities and occasionally around the UK * Effective organisational skills * Experience of engaging with the public
