Client Manager KANTAR Business Unit : Usage Foods Westgate London Our heartland is FMCG, but over the years we’ve expanded our services to include restaurants, fashion and entertainment. The goal? Complete measurement of all consumers’ spending – and we are getting there. This means our client base is increasingly varied and interesting - including retailers and manufacturers from across industries, along with media companies, government bodies and city institutions. Our client service teams have grown rapidly to accommodate these new services and clients. As the thirst for real behavioural measurement increases, so does the competition pressure and crucially, the requirement to generate the best possible insights and connect them with our growing client base better than ever before. We want to help all of our clients to know more, every day. The Job We have a genuinely exciting opportunity for a Client Manager to join the Usage Foods team at Kantar. The Usage team specialise is translating consumption insights into competitive advantage for our clients. We help them understand how their products are consumed and where the opportunities are for growth. The Usage team work with an array of clients across a range of categories – from Snacking to Soft drinks to Dairy. The role involves managing a team and leading the relationship with some of our most strategic and interesting clients, including globally recognised brands and private label manufacturers. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who can work independently managing a portfolio of accounts, create impactful relationships with clients and coach junior members of the team. We are a fast-growing team and want to keep this up, so commercial awareness is essential. Management: Manage a team to ensure everyone is engaged, motivated and continue to progress through mentoring, development catch ups and feedback. To work in close conjunction with your wider client service and other teams in the business; Purchase, New Business, Expert Solutions Capabilities • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships • Commercial acumen and the confidence to turn opportunities into sales • Keen to develop knowledge and be seen as an expert, talking articulately about the industry and client challenges to connect with client needs • Ability to build rapport and challenge clients to ascertain underlying business issues. • Compelling and engaging communication style that conveys the expertise expected of a Client Manager • A proven ability in delivering insightful presentations with impact • Energy, enthusiasm, and the desire to succeed • Experience of working in a client facing capacity
