Overview

Head of Ecommerce Trade needed for a leading beauty e-retailer based in Central London. The role itself is a 12 month FTC to cover maternity but could be longer. What you will be doing: Lead the merchandising function from an Ecommerce trading perspective, focused on recommendations, category product placement, personalisation, site search, navigation and the development of new consumer-oriented tools to help with conversion and offers. Participate in overall company personalisation strategy - understanding what is in place now, reviewing potential suppliers and opportunities and improving the personalisation proposition over time. Utilising category and customer analysis to create an on-site trading strategy that focuses on AOV, ASP and USP leveraging product placements across the site (PLP, PDP, Nav, Category and SubCategory). Participates in weekly senior trade discussions to ensure offers and other trading strategies are incorporated into the overall company trade plan. Responsible for populating the master trade plan each week. Key point of contact with commercial responsible for management of offers across the site, timings, creative briefing and placement / analysis. Participates in planning and forecasting for the UK and ROW websites. Lead the strategy for the navigation across devices - looking at customer trends in beauty and developing a best in class navigation experience that meets consumers’ needs and delivers on brand ideals. Executing and delivering the established trade plans across mobile, desktop and long term - our new mobile app where offers, diagnostics, core brand messaging and campaign content is involved. Further to this you will also be: Working collaboratively with the performance marketing teams in order to ensure that the onsite customer journey is considered for all campaigns, this includes product list pages, product detail pages and core landing pages (departments, category and sub category). Ensure all new product launches, back in stocks and new brand launches are considered and prepared in all core site locations. Lead on site search strategy including keyword optimisation, content strategy and Managing the Ecommerce Trading Team effectively to deliver the agreed sales goals Using website analytics to monitor KPI’s and make recommendations for improvement on an ongoing basis. Quickly analyses trading patterns with sufficient level of detail to ensure appropriate action is taken. Helps Identify promotional opportunities for all channels based on customer behaviour data and brand popularity / stock position.
