Business Intelligence Director

A high growth market leading business close to Rickmansworth and an employer of choice are looking for a Business Intelligence Director to lead their BI data strategy and work closely with the Finance and Marketing teams to implement this. This will extend to insights and analysis on business trends, marketing plan developments, promotions, events and products. The business will look towards this role to understand trending, and to provide views of outlook/forecast. The role will have strong links and interactions with multiple stakeholder groups across the business at board level. The Business Intelligence Director based close to Rickmansworth with be responsible for the following both in the U.K and Internationally: Lead the analysis and insights to understanding business results ie strong set of routine business information that is accurate, timely and insightful - learning's to be taken from these ( e.g on post implementation analysis) and improved implementation the next time around Provide a view of possible business outlook highlighting areas of risks and opportunities Provide credible challenges and recommend ideas to drive business growth - the role will bring these through marrying data with business considerations Evaluate initiatives to support business growth using metrics and insights Understand financial implications of business growth initiatives Work collaboratively cross-functionally to be able to provide rounded assessments Evolve a BI team in the region which can help drive business growth in their respective areas Adaptable and able to proactively lead ad hoc analysis Key interactions will be with Sales & Marketing teams, Country Directors, BI superusers, Regional management and the Corporate team.
