Job Title Manager, Business Analysis Solutions Design and Architecture (SD&A) provide Technical, Architectural and Requirements leadership for the suite of Products that VocaLink sell within the UK and Internationally. Business Analysts are responsible for eliciting requirements and developing comprehensive analysis artefacts that support overarching solution definitions in complex/large programmes of work. This is a senior role that will involve providing requirements leadership on major strategic projects. It will also involve direct contact with senior stakeholders with in the Mastercard/ VocaLink organisation, as well as with senior customers on remote International site. Role Business Analysts are expected to have a broad range of skills and experience and may be asked to undertake any or all of the following activities; Perform the elicitation and analysis of business change, functional and non-functional requirements across a range of stakeholders, internal and external. Own and produce relevant analysis artefacts and documentation including business capability views, features/epics/stories as well as supporting business models and specifications. Ownership of analysis tasks, timescales and approach and supporting the project manager achieve the delivery outcomes needed Line management of one or more Business Analysts in the team including management and accountability of the work performed and investing in people and career development. Supporting the Lead Architect to ensure that solutions are appropriate, meet stakeholders needs and are aligned with EA and Product roadmaps and governance Through collaboration, traceability and review ensure that requirements are successfully delivered Provide the evaluation of current products and services against proposed changes and product investments. Acquire subject matter expertise in VocaLink products and processes and provide thought leadership to help drive projects forward Bring leadership to the organisation in how we deliver effective Business Analysis within the SDA function. Act as a role model to other Business Analysts and provide the thought leadership and action to develop and grow the team. All about You Strong analysis and problem solving skills. A desire to learn and a curiosity to understand systems and processes.). Experience in the Payments Industry, ideally domestic clearing and settlement. Experience with UK payments desirable. Proven track record in Business Analysis within a complex change environment. Experience in using structured analysis techniques and able to evaluate and plan approaches on projects Experience in leading others on projects and planning and executing analysis work across a work stream. Able to work package for others. Excellent communication skills and able to communicate both written and verbally to internal stakeholders and external clients Confident in requirements elicitation and able to facilitate cross functional conversations and workshops Able to use a variety of analysis techniques to model, refine and communicate requirements and the behaviour of business systems Experience of software delivery lifecycle approach, both waterfall and agile.
