Overview
Your new role You will be a key part in developing the digital platforms for a local council through maintaining and updating the current channels and utilising new channels to expand reach to a diverse audience. This role requires you to work in a team liaising with the Programmes Manager to achieve the councils Communications Strategy and to ensure the effective delivery of customer focused projects. You will work with the IT department to improve the customer experience of the council website as the council moves to a new web platform. What you'll need to succeed Experience working in Local Government as a Communications Officer Experience using a number of different communication channels Experience managing and promoting web content Great written and spoken communication skills Good understanding of how to evaluate different communications techniques Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels Experience of developing and delivering communications plans for a range of projects Ability to accurately summarise and convey complex information to a diverse audience What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, email me an up-to-date copy of your CV.
