Marketing Manager Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) Location: London (nr. Victoria Station) About Our Client A small, passionate team of entrepreneurs and industry professionals pioneering extraordinary solutions to ordinary problems and looking for a like-minded person to join the team, implement some killer marketing campaigns, create high quality leads and get stuck in with everything that needs to be done to grow the business. Their goal is to make running a business glamourous again by simplifying the lives of business owners. My client started with providing a 30-day, easy to read snapshot of their finances, because visibility of their finances is one of their biggest challenges. Owners can easily see their short-term cash position and if they see a shortfall, they can get cash by selling unpaid invoices, giving confidence they have enough to cover payroll at the end of the month. What we're looking for Our client is looking for a like-minded person to join the team. Ideally, the person will have 3 years' experience in marketing and some in a small or start-up business. This role would be perfect for someone hoping to find an opportunity to take the next step in their career and help a promising business accelerate their customer growth. Responsibilities Marketing campaign planning, implementation and delivery: Work with the team to create and deliver marketing campaign tailored to our audience. Social Media: Create strategy and manage all social media channels. Conference and event calendar: Manage an up to date calendar for relevant events and conferences. Online presence: Review all online touchpoints to ensure they are on-brand and in-line with the messaging. CRM: Complete oversight of CRM set up and performance. Marketing materials: Create and keep up to date all marketing materials, including blogs, whitepapers, pitch decks and newsletters. Media outreach: Develop and maintain a network of relevant media channels. Market research: Keep up to date on market trends, our competition and our audience. Also, keep an eye out for gaps in the market for our proposition. Reporting: Set targets with the team across all campaigns and channels. Monitor their performance, create regular reports and recommend areas for improvement. The Successful Applicant Marketing and branding: you should be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of marketing campaigns across a variety of channels. Marketing projects: experience of running a range of projects from conception through to delivery. Social Media: holistic approach to targeted social media marketing, including paid ads and direct engagement and messaging with measurable outcomes. Teamwork: Although we need someone to have the experience and confidence to run with the role, this person needs to enjoy working in a team, be willing to help on other projects or tasks if required and be part of the team effort to reach the company goals. Desirable Skills Experience working in a start-up environment . While it isn't essential, there should be an understanding that a range of tasks across the business need completing and you will be happy to get stuck in help out the team. Photoshop or similar. The ability to produce creative material for marketing assets such as photo editing, creating simple images, writing compelling social posts would be incredibly useful. Experience with SEO or Adwords campaigns to effectively reach our audience whilst keeping CPA as low as possible
