Overview
Our client are a small, emerging analytics company, seeking a data science consultant. This is an exciting opportunity far removed from the traditional corporate space, where the successful candidate will have a chance to: express creative freedom in analytics engagements have scope for some flexible / remote working each week be supported / guided by senior resources develop channel / functional expertise in a particular analytics domain develop a LT vested interest in the business through LT incentive plans. Whilst the role is planned to initially be focused on a high profile client engagement in the revenue management analytics space, with a global client in London, the successful candidate will be given an opportunity to support wider aspects of the business, including: supporting additional business tenders by offering technical support to the sales process and attending meetings working with the CTO to launch and grow 1-2 intelligent ML-applications, which our client has been developing over the last 6 months supporting delivery of additional engagements, which may include on-site and remote work in UK, Europe and North America. Our client are supported by senior industry leaders and 2 specialist organisations in the analytics and digital space, who will be supporting our client to unlock analytics consulting engagements, largely in consumer industries. Candidate preferences Applicants should ideally: be performance and outcome focused possess some prior practical analytics experience outside of research possess strong technical proficiency in R and / or Python and commonly used ML libraries have a PhD in a Data Science/Machine Learning, Computer Science or a related quantitative fields
