Role Overview and Key Responsibilities: This role is responsible for marketing data science, conducting analysis and delivering insights that inform marketing strategy and demand approaches while delivering stakeholder reporting requirements. This role will provide opportunity to work on the data that drives the entire B2B marketing funnel, from ad media to sales in a big data environment. Propose solutions and strategies to overcome clients’ business challenges Work with the client management team and the paid media team to ensure the most effective and efficient use of budgets and tools Seek to go beyond the brief to create data insight that’s driven by measured innovation Design, deliver and present analysis to internal and external clients Deliver statistical models such as segmentations, plus regression and propensity models that help to inform the most appropriate target audiences for advertising activation Turn analytics output into actionable insight that can be understood by the less technically minded Work with other parts of the business to develop analytical propositions Conduct analysis and generate insights on static and moving data, such as internal CRM, 3rd party audience data and in-flight campaign data Conduct marketing operations tasks related to Eloqua and Salesforce as needed Produce reports and presentations in support of quarterly business reviews, marketing leadership reviews and client meetings Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms Skillset and Experience Required: Significant experience of using advanced audience research tools and techniques to produce audience insight relevant to an operational business - manipulating both internal and external data sources against strategic needs - typically in a B2B marketing context Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, particularly working creatively with existing data sources/large data sets, with the ability to use multiple datasets (e.g. third-party data, CRM, GA) in one narrative Experience of producing and presenting audience research to senior stakeholders, providing insights and forecasts into current and potential audiences that drive tangible solutions to increase audience reach and engagement for our clients Experience of campaign management tools such as Adobe Campaign, Siebel, Alterian etc would be beneficial Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience Strong analytical and quantitative ability Experience with SQL required Machine learning and data science skills preferred
