We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst in join our Centre of Excellence team working at our Streatham office. About Us PRS for Music Limited is the UK's leading collection society, bringing together two collection societies: the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society and the Performing Right Society. We undertake collective rights management for musical works on behalf of over 140,000 members. We pay royalties to our members when their work is performed, broadcast, streamed, downloaded, reproduced, played in public or used in film and TV. We support them by influencing policy, supporting and hosting awards and events, and investing in new technology to ensure we’re fit for the digital music age. About the Role An Analyst within our Centre of Excellence team will apply analytical methods and tools to equip business areas with relevant and accurate information upon which they can make timely and better-informed decisions. You will achieve this by focusing on delivering excellence in data analytics by identifying different types of data that need tracking to improve business performance. You will look at spotting trends in data, specific to the business area being supported. You will develop and maintain BI data models in collaboration with Data & Analytics Business Partners and conduct market/other research relevant to the business area and prepare and present regular and ad hoc analytics findings and recommendations for action. Other duties include but limited to: Collaborating with the Data Scientist to explore opportunities to deploy advanced analytics such as machine learning and predictive analytics. Actively participate in the Analytics Community where knowledge and expertise are shared throughout the PRS organisation. Contribute towards discussions regarding emerging trends in data analytics and how this applies to the PRS business. About You You will have the ability to analyse and interpret financial data, customer data, society rules and regulations, contracts and legislation. Have detailed knowledge of relevant data file formats and ability to interrogate data in such files, you will have professional work experience in data science, business intelligence or analytics with experience using data science toolkits and visualisation tools. We are also keen to speak to candidates that have experience of stakeholder management and have strong communication skills and mathematical skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with Microsoft Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft Office packages. Comfortable producing detailed written reports and presentations for a range of audiences whilst having end-to-end management of research and analysis projects, identifying and sharing key insights. You will have experience of building relationships across teams and departments to share knowledge and improve processes. Why PRS?
