Overview
Strategy Analyst - Junior. Based in Kings Langley, Herts, I have a brand new requirement for Junior Strategy Analyst with at least 1-2 years experience in a similar role. You must have: Strategic analysis experience. Research and analysis skills. Ability to present in writing and verbally at board-level events. Excel skills for financial modelling & forecasting. Experience of undertaking strategy analysis for or within companies, ideally as part of a strategy consulting business. Experience of developing business plans. Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and think creatively. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects to tight timescales. Ability to grasp detail and to balance this with an understanding of the bigger picture. Team player with the intellectual rigor and attention to detail. Self-motivation and drive. Duties include: Shape the strategic agenda and develop compelling arguments, translating these into a high-quality dialogue with the business and presentations for a Senior Executive audience. Provide leadership with an independent, integrated perspective of the internal and external market place of topics or projects you are responsible for, facilitating informed challenge and discussions. Ensure competitive strategy is at the heart by implementing world-class standards for rigorous planning and sound decision-making. Support the business planning process. Monitor and track global news-flow around markets and competitors, drawing insights from trends, to ensure senior executives are kept informed of emerging opportunities and threats and those individuals that interact with our key customers have the information they need to deepen relationships. Provide insights for procurement team as they build long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure my client continues to have access to the latest technologies at the lowest cost to deliver the most value to our projects.
