Overview

The Organisation A Global FMCG leader seeking to recruit a Regional Operational Excellence Leader to deliver a step change in performance and instill a world class manufacturing culture. The Role As Regional Operational Excellence Leader responsible for deploying and embedding a bespoke lean/CI programme across a cluster of manufacturing facilities within Europe. Operating within a matrix structure and with support of the senior leadership team you will develop meaningful relationships with the respective factory teams, being a catalyser for change and accelerated performance • You will be responsible for training of Continuous Improvement techniques and the steps needed at all levels. • You will work with site-based teams and external consultants to accelerate the implementation of the group wide Continuous Improvement strategy. • You will drive compliance to legislative, business needs and standards • You will implement best practice manufacturing through identified tools and techniques, specifically TPM & Lean. • To explore new opportunities in order to improve efficiency, reduce waste and ensure customer service • Support delivery of measurable improvements in Health and Safety, OEE, wastage and quality with the Factory manufacturing teams. Flexibility to travel within Europe is required The Candidate A CI / Operational excellence professional with blue chip FMCG manufacturing experience • Formal lean training & qualifications (minimum Six Sigma Green Belt) • Proven practical understanding of lean principles (both in developing strategy & hands on implementation) • Proven experience managing & implementing TPM projects & DMAIC understanding • An expert in the SDCA maintain cycle with the ability to train, coach and develop others in the methodology • Excellent cross functional communication skills • Ideally multi-site experience • Proven coaching & development experience • The ability to engage people at all levels of an organisation About Mackenzie Jones At Mackenzie Jones, we put specialist expertise to work.
