TRAINEE ONSITE PROJECT MANAGER - Major Retail Client LOCATION: Central London SALARY: £28-32k basic dependent on experience Could suit somebody either experienced in running a retail category for print/POS/packaging OR somebody at coordinator or exec level who is really keen and enthusiastic for that step up & progression to doing this role. HAVE YOU got a proven background in print, POS, packaging or similar marketing services or artwork production market? DO YOU have experience of working with a retail client? Or if not within FMCG? HAVE YOU worked on-site or in a client facing position previously? ARE YOU someone who is extremely process driven? DO YOU have any experience working with large well-known clients? WOULD YOU like to work with a major client? DO YOU have lots of confidence in front of clients? ARE YOU a naturally orgainsed person who can handle challenges in a calm manner? ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager / Account Manager to work on-site with a major client at their head office. There will an opportunity to develop and trained through coaching and development programs. You will be required to project manage the artwork process for a category / different categories (dependent on the size) ensuring progress is tracked at all times. This is a project management based role and will involve a lot of coordination, communication, handling multiple projects at once, processing work through systems. Manage the artwork approval process using online approval tool. Gain agreement on an approved artwork to progress through to repro. Work with pre-production department and client's teams with regards to colour. Work with suppliers and printers to ensure printed samples are submitted after press runs for approval. You will be working alongside the on-site project support team to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard. Ensure that all clients invoicing is up to date. Monitor payment of category invoices and assist with invoice queries.
