The Business An international creative technology company specialising in illuminated visual design, immersive experiences, architectural lighting, stereoscopy and R&D based product development. With offices in London, Paris and New York this studio work with the biggest names in fashion, culture and brand experience such as, Beyonce, Alexander McQueen and Elton John to name three. The Job You will join the company as a Junior Project Manager to work closely with the Architectural Lighting and Production Lighting team. This position is to act as a focal point to help support the Project Manager to ensure delivery of design and development of architectural lighting, stage engineering and production lighting elements. Job Breakdown • Take part in both internal and external meetings regarding upcoming productions, participating in these and building relationships with other colleague and peers alike. • Creation and internal distribution of all project records including execution plans, time frames, and monthly overview reports. • Be aware and take responsibly for all details of a project which you are working upon, highlighting any issues to the Project Manager. • Have an interest in the development of lighting and experiential design for all areas of buildings or structures. • Help drafting presentations to clients for reviews and workshops. • Ad hoc duties that crop up in live event production. Who Fits the Bill? • Educated to degree level. • Degree subjects related to Architecture, Interior Design or similar disciplines are preferred but not required. • Fully computer literate and numerate. • Responsive to deadlines. • Strong and effective communicator with colleagues at all levels e.g. Mangers, Board Executives and clients. • Self-motivated and be able to manage, plan and prioritise your own workload. • Ability to work effectively in pressurised environments and deliver to deadlines. • Proven analytical capability. • Approachable personality, with a "can do" attitude. • Desirable for some commercial experience ideally previously working in an Architectural, Interior Design or Construction company.
