About the Role The Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click Specialist will work closely with account managers to implement methods to improve clients’ websites organic search rankings including keyword research, content creation, link building techniques and finding any opportunities to improve the performance of a client's website. This role also includes documenting any SEO changes, and communicating changes to the account manager or client. In addition, this person will develop and optimise every aspect of clients’ pay-per-click campaigns. This includes managing keyword research, bidding strategies, formulating and managing the PPC budgets of clients, analysing results, and reporting results to the account manager that aligns to their objectives and drives forward recommendations. Responsibilities • Client website and competitor website analysis. • Conduct keyword research and create a technical analysis on websites including SEO auditing. • Maintain multiple client accounts across various industries. • Working on ethical link building techniques. • Plan campaigns • Google My Business post creation and monitoring. • Creating content for internal and external websites. • Technical website monitoring and fixes (broken links, redirects, disavow file submissions etc.) • Google Ad monitoring and bid adjustments • Monthly reporting and summarising the next steps to the account manager or client. Skills & Attributes • At least 1 years of experience in SEO & PPC or focused on SEO mainly with the willingness to learn. • Managing multiple websites across different industries. • Knowledge of websites and coding best practices (HTML, CSS & JavaScript would be preferable). • Knowledge of off page linking and content strategies (technical, on page and off page). • Can demonstrate successful SEO techniques and high result placements for a website. • A technical SEO background with knowledge of HTML, website code and page structuring for best SEO results. • Experience of working with Web Analytics packages; Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google Tag Manager, Google My Business, Google Ads etc. • Research the latest industry news and trends regarding SEO, PPC and Digital Marketing. • Communicate with account managers regarding any important changes in SEO & PPC (algorithm changes etc.) • Ability to track links and webpage interactions for research and reporting. • Working on a variety of CMS systems (Word Press, Wix, Craft, Drupal etc.) • Knowledge of Google Ads (Search and Display campaigns). • Experience of using Google Docs (sheets would be preferable). • Good knowledge of excel (creating formulas and reports). • Experience of starting a website project from scratch. • Experience in UX, heat map tracking and analysis. (advantageous) • Experience in Social Media is not required, but is preferable. Salary: £20,000 - £30,000 DOE
