Overview

Internal Communications and Engagement Manager (Financial Services/Pensions) - London - 35-45k My client is looking for an Internal Communications and Engagement manager. To develop and implement internal communications and engagement across the business which is Pensions. Engaging colleagues in delivering the organisations overall strategic goals. You will be working as part of a small team and will be involved in a wide variety of work across the channels. You will be a team player who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the team and take an active role in developing the internal communications function. The Role and Responsibilities The main responsibilities of this role will involve developing plans and associated tactics to deliver agreed communication objectives and messages as cost-effectively as possible to employees and stakeholders; Ensure all internal communications are in line with, and support the business strategy; Offer expert advice and assistance to stakeholders on how best to communicate information relating to planned organisational changes and create engaging communications to meet desired objectives; Manage the Intranet (SharePoint (online) on a day-to-day basis working with the Knowledge Manager, colleagues and Intranet Champions. Taking responsibility for publishing and monitoring that the content, documentation and news items are suitable, relevant, up to date and in line with brand guidelines; Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, including, intranet, video, online newsletters, SnapComms or regular email bulletin; Draft, create and design content using adobe creative suite; Proactively identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and relationships via internal communication; Be a champion and advocate of company values; Promote a consistent ‘Company’ culture in all communications; Working closely with HR and other stakeholders on Inclusion and Corporate Responsibility; Manage corporate stationery and templates for the business to reflect any corporate changes; Provide training and support where necessary on change projects and communication support; Develop a strong internal network and share best practice with stakeholders; To support Corporate Communications where necessary; Be prepared to travel to other offices if required. Your Skills and Experience Financial services Experience - Pensions preferably; Right to work in the UK; Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Internal Communications; Experience of implementing Internal Communications strategies for multi-site organisations in a B2B environment; Excellent planning skills with the ability to prioritise and complete work in accordance to deadlines; Highly developed written and verbal communication skills; Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Office suite of products, SharePoint and the adobe creative suite.
