Our client is a well established property and construction consultancy who genuinely look after their staff including holding monthly recommendations as to how they can make any changes They have recently moved into their new offices, spread over 2 floors and the open plan area really does allow for a non-claustrophobic working environment - no row after row of desks They are expanding their Project Management team and are now looking to appoint either a Project manager or Senior Project Manager to join their 30 team. They have been established for over 40 years and are multi disciplinary allowing for you to communicate with the Architectural or H&S teams as and whne needed. Their specialism is Residential led mixed use schemes and they have a number of large scale developments that they are engaged on and with more flowing through the pipeline. It is the culture of the team that really does separate this client from the rest; they genuinely invest in and look after their own - no ego's and definitely no jostling for who can get to the next level first. As a Project Management Specialist you should have a demonstrable track record or project delivery iworking for a Private Construction Consultancy and ideally with Residential led projects; although this is not essential. The role would cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception and business case development, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase. Job Duties: Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery. Provide oversight / strategic guidance /audit & review, to a portfolio of projects being lead within the cost centre. To provide effective support to PMs and APMs. Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time. Strong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional team. Business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross- selling opportunities, are identified and acted upon. Be the primary interface with clients (New and Existing). Provide leadership within project management business and provide leadership and mentoring to the team. Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training. Manage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed time-scales and quality standards. Co-ordination and sign off on all management information produced by project management teams prior to issue. To 'win' clients through strong business development skills. Management of tender documents, appraisals and negotiations.
