The Director, Demand and Operations Planning (EU/Asia) is accountable for the development, execution and administration of long and mid-term operational forecasts and direct labour plans for all EU/Asia Distribution and Contact Centre Operations. This individual will lead a team of market-level managers to implement and maintain an infrastructure (systems, information, processes, and people) that provides each site in the network with an optimal forecast plan and mix of labour that will support service levels and goals. The Director, Demand & Operations Planning (EU/Asia) will be responsible for developing labour strategies in each EU/Asia market that are aligned with budgeted operational costs. Lead advanced analytics projects which improve business capabilities including speed and efficiency to ship product, improvements in customer experience and team member experience. Lead advanced analytics projects which provide operations with views of strategic operating capability and capacity. Lead and guide deployment of forecasting for all operational areas within our contact centre and distribution networks in each EU/Asia market. The ideal candidate will have: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Requires superior working knowledge of artificial intelligence forecasting software and applying AI techniques to solve business problems. Requires superior working knowledge of Workforce management systems. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, organisational skills with specific attention to detail, project/time management skills, and supervisory/managerial skills. Ability to read, analyse, and interpret scientific and technical information and financial reports. Ability to effectively present information to Senior Management Team and public groups.
