Overview

Innovative and progressive events company based in Central London desperately seeks the company of an experienced Marketing Executive Manager for initial fun and perhaps more. OK now I have your attention you will want to join this exhibition company which specialise in tech conferencing for both sides of the pond. Reporting to the Marketing Campaign Manager and working alongside the sponsorship team, you will create and design conferences from start to finish. This end to end delivery requires creativity, discipline and an ability to work autonomously when required (as well as in a fab team of course) And now for the boring bit like the small print Duties include: 1) Execution of multi-channel marketing campaign plans (channels include but not limited to website, email, social media, content management, paid ads, partnerships 2) Copywriting and editing marketing emails, blog posts, press releases, videos etc 3) Supporting the Marketing Campaign Manager on the messaging and branding of event 4) Contribute innovative and creative ideas to help improve our marketing campaigns 5) Analysing customer data and researching externally to identify trends and partnership opportunities, and making recommendations based on the data 6) Coordinating the design and production of collateral for web and print (banner ads, flyers etc), including identifying and recording requirements, briefing suppliers and placing orders 7) Working closely with events and sponsorship teams to deliver the content, collaborate on activities 8) Communicating with the audience and delegates via social media, email and Slack 9) Managing database, files and marketing folders to keep an accurate record of activities 10) Meeting the marketing team weekly for progress updates and brainstorming for new ideas What we are looking for: Any demonstrable copy writing experience would be highly advantageous Ideally at least a year of marketing experience, but we are happy to receive applications from diverse work backgrounds with transferable skills Ideally some experience of working with email marketing and social media platforms Experience in the events industry would be advantageous but not a requirement For this role, we’re more interested in your skills and mindset than in your specific education. The job would suit a marketing or events graduate looking for their second full-time role, but having a degree is not a requirement.
