We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer to join the Senior Leadership Team. Working alongside our new Principal, Andy Broadbent, the person appointed will play a key role as senor leader in delivering the vision for New College Durham, supporting the College on the next stage of our journey. We are looking for highly experienced and qualified accountant who is proficient in Financial Services with a successful track record of significant achievements. You will have experience of leading complex financial change and service reconfiguration which has a discernible impact on an organisation's key financial outcome. Experience of working in the educational sector is desirable, not essential. You understand the challenges of our students and curriculum colleagues and are able to develop appropriate financial strategies which ensure the continued financial viability of the College, whilst allowing the College to sustain its outstanding curriculum offer to our students. You will have a strong sense of duty and the ability to build relationships at all levels. You will also be able to foster an environment of openness, respect and trust.
