Overview

A high profile Insurance Group based in the City of London seeks an experienced Marketing Executive with 2-3 years prior experience in Marketing project management in a marketing/agency environment or within financial services, a graduate in marketing, business administration, or related communications field. The role will be rolling out a variety of internal projects, including branding. The role is to work in an initial 12 month contract, managing marketing projects that support the Marketing Business Partners and strategies of the business. This person is also responsible for project management and the project management platform working with the operations and creative services teams to assign internal and external resources for the execution of creative projects. Working closely with Marketing Business Partners on the development of tactical plans supporting business unit marketing strategies and objectives with a strong focus on the client. Attends/ leads project kickoff meetings to ensure holistic understanding and collaboration on large projects. Interpret (external) business needs, provide consultation to division leaders and sales teams, and influence decisions to select the most effective communication tactic to meet specific business or marketing objectives. Develop high-impact and effective marketing materials targeted to clients and other stakeholders. Implement marketing concepts and collaborate with business units Assistants / Coordinator/ Underwriters to coordinate (internal and external) resources to deliver high quality, innovative products on-time and within budget. Develop creative project briefs at the start of each initiative to ensure consistent understanding of business goals and objectives, key messaging, and tactical deliverables. Responsible for obtaining cost estimates from distribution and development vendors and working with procurement accordingly. Establishes timelines and deliverables with the marketing partners and sets up projects in project management system. Assigns resources, internal and external, based on creative brief provided by marketing partner. Manages the deliverables with external resources according to the creative brief to ensure objectives, deadlines and budgets are being met. Ensure that all marketing programs, promotions and activities are tracked and measured to determine their ROI and success. Effectively work within project management processes and systems to ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration.
