SEO Officer

Venn Group is currently recruiting for an experienced SEO Officer on behalf of a reputable Higher Education organisation based in Warwickshire. This is a temporary contract for a minimum of 9 months offering an hourly rate of £14.89 (PAYE). Duties will include Ensuring all websites and internet properties are technically optimised to attract and engage target audience Reviewing SEO performance across key metrics and other key indicators such as ranking, visibility, conversions and authority and implement SEO strategies to support digital activities onsite and offsite Setting up and working to performance indicators for SEO/SEM that are clear, communicating these to inform marketing planning and encourage working in data cycles Promoting offsite and on-site activities to support increase in traffic to website, linking to specific marketing campaigns, advising on user content strategies to help create backlinks and improve web authority Defining the purpose of each webpage and user journey and measure effectiveness Tracking responses and analysing website analytics and PPC Supporting campaign development and undertaking media-purchase using bid management tools Undertaking A/B testing across the website and microsites Managing the web analytics account and other related SEO/SEM analytical tools including access for relevant staff where required Developing and managing in house plans for SEO improvements including implementation of new tools and resources Providing web analytics reports on the site as a whole, in addition to individual sections and department areas on an ongoing basis Reporting on SEO improvements google rankings, site effectiveness and campaigns To apply for this role or to find out about other Marketing & Communications jobs, please contact Leah Waldron on the Midlands Marketing & Communications Recruitment team on or Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
