Overview

Senior Planner | Aberdeen | Award-winning Consultancy Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with an award-winning practice in Aberdeen on the hire of a Senior Planner. Our client offers architectural, urban design, masterplanning and planning consultancy services to a variety of clients across the UK. The team provides expertise on all manner of land diversification and land use opportunities. This could be from an initial view on a client's development proposal, through to the strategy and delivery of major mixed-use development projects. In this role, you will work on an exciting mix of projects that fall into multiple sectors such as commercial, residential, leisure, heritage, and mixed-use. You will support the team in delivering the following services to its client base; -Planning advice -Feasibility studies -Planning and development support -Planning applications -Planning appeals -Public consultations -Design statements -Promotion of land for development -Research, analysis, and review In order to apply you will hold/demonstrate; -Planning degree (RTPI accredited ideally) -3-5 years of planning experience (private sector desirable but not essential) -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Confident and ambitious -Driving license The rewards -Competitive starting salary & benefits package -Join a leader in the planning and design market -Experienced and supportive team -Varied project portfolio Interested?
