Overview

Job Title: Events Executive Location: South London Salary: £25K Commission We are working on a fantastic role with a well-respected and established client. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on range of events and conferences alongside well known clients. As Events Executive, you will manage the event from start to finish, working closely with stakeholders and ensuring the event runs smoothly and is a success. To be considered for this role you must currently be in an events role, and ideally have been for one year. Some key responsibilities include: - Conduct site visits and manage programme changes as required. - Ensure that all sponsorship requirements have been carried out - Liaise with the AV team to make sure they are fully briefed on all AV equipment needed such as web and teleconferences - Ensure your Event Co-ordinator is fully briefed in the event Arrange shipment of your materials to venues - Ensure the venue is set up correctly - Welcome Speakers and introduce them senior attendees - Manage Drinks Reception, return to the venue for drinks receptions, ensure that it is run to time & budget - Post conference administration Skills Required - Event Management/Business undergraduate degree; minimum 2:1 level - Minimum 1-year experience in a related events/logistics role (events up 100 attendees) - Experience working in a busy, ever-changing environment - Excellent attention to detail within all aspects of a role - Willing to travel during the Conference Season (September to June) - Excellent communication skills across all levels - Capable problem solver, who is able to work on own initiative If you are a junior events professional looking to move into a diverse role in a well-established company, then apply now to find out more beSAVVY Due to the number of applicants we receive for this role, we will only be able to respond to suitable applicants.
