Overview
Events & Social Media Manager A full-time booking, events and Social Media Manager is needed to join the team of an award-winning South West London cocktail bar/restaurant. As part of a small marketing team you will have an important role in the successful running of our events portfolio as well as day-to-day promotion of 2 venues. The role: Managing daily email booking enquiries and phone calls Increase booking enquiries and conversion of both corporate and private bookings, exclusive hire and day to day customer bookings (Fundraising and social events, product launches, etc) using multiple booking sites such as Design My Night, Tagvenue, Venuescanner etc. Selling and promoting all venue/s function space, room hire and under-utilized areas to drive new revenue streams across the district. Managing social media accounts to promote the venue: Instagram posts and stories, Facebook, Twitter Help maintain all brochures, flyers and other sales support material both physical and online through listings such as Tripadvisor, Tagvenue, Design My Night Establish and develop good relationships with third parties such as brands, charities, influencers, press Oversee and update any web listings like Google Business or 3rdparty sites, with venue information, menu and images, contact details, etc Communication with all senior management with booking information and guest relations. Confirm and follow up on all bookings, managing guests expectations. Ongoing and additional research of any marketing tools that can benefit the every day running and promotion of Lost Society Battersea and Putney. Replying to reviews and feedback to the correct department. Processing refunds and dealing with complaints/lost and found queries making sure that guests have a direct contact with someone at the venue. Scheduling photography/filming at the venues and making sure suitable staff is on site making sure these events run smoothly. Skills and experience required: At least 2 years social media marketing and events experience You will be familiar with Design My Night or any other booking site You will have a proven track record of demonstrating exceptional knowledge and understanding of the whole spectrum of the social media (Instagram - posts and stories, Facebook, Twitter) Good understanding of trends, hashtags and solid experience using content marketing tools A positive attitude, patience and persistence, especially when dealing with various internal and external stakeholders Polite and respectful towards the needs of all guests Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience and a keen interest in working in a bar Ability to work independently and as part of a team Self-motivated and excellent attention to detail IT and computer literate Benefits: Full-time employment £26,000 p.a bonus.
