Inspiring, informing, empowering - working for wildlife. Role Profile Do you love wildlife? Do you also love magazine design and know your rivers from your rags? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced creative artworker or magazine designer to work on projects including our publications portfolio at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) based at London Zoo. You’ll provide an artworking service to many areas of the organisation, but key to this role will be working with our publications editor to produce our award-winning magazine which is being brought in-house with a fresh new look and feel. You’ll be a natural problem-solver, have excellent print artworking experience, be a whizz with typography, composition, image retouching, and have brilliant layout skills. Adept at working to grid confines, and used to working with style sheets, master pages and brand guidelines, you’ll be an agile self-starter with the confidence to manage stakeholders and provide art direction when required. You’ll need a graphic design degree or equivalent, strong layout skills, knowledge of creative suite applications and the ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising accuracy or attention to detail. You’ll have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a busy office environment.
