MARKETING EXECUTIVE Entry level role Graduate opportunity Permanent, full time role in an award winning publisher and event company Professional, but not corporate working environment Salary up to £22K with lots great company benefits inc generous holiday, Travel to events around the UK and potentially internationally Training and development sessions aiming to increase skills and knowledge within the team An opportunity has arisen for a talented aspiring marketer to join an ever growing marketing team. Role responsibilities: Work with the Publishers and Editors on specific portfolios to devise and implement a well-considered print and digital marketing plan, including use of relevant data and audiences, appropriate social media channels, to promote subscriptions to our titles. Liaise with the Publishers and Editors of the portfolios to research relevant audiences and data for promotion. Prepare high quality digital marketing material with clear and succinct messages, advertisement campaigns and maintaining budget control with all projects including existing and new sites, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and on budget. Attend executive meetings required. Attend relevant events to manage on site promotion activity. Keep up with the latest trends and developments, to maintain excellence in digital media and future technology market understanding. To assist with e-shots & e-newsletters for our clients, including mailing list segmentation, testing and delivery. Help gain advantage for our brands by using digital channels such as link-building and SEO optimisation to increase traffic and discoverability of our brand activities. Assist the publishing teams with the development of the websites to ensure that information on the sites is kept up to date, that all links remain relevant and are working properly, that expired events and information are promptly removed from the sites and that, in general, the sites are working properly and up to speed. Report performance and usage trends through Google Analyt­ics. Implement successful marketing campaigns for the websites to grow our online audience to support our events, data acquisition and subscription revenues. Work closely with the design studio to help produce appropriate, attractive and effective marketing material in accordance with the budgeted costs, maintaining high quality content and a high level of accuracy. Assist with email campaigns for the wider business as necessary. To liaise with third parties, i.e. data brokers, promotional companies, as appropriate. To ensure user data is captured in line with our CRM and data management strategies and that the storage and use of it complies with Data Protection laws. To ensure the appropriate branding and brand messages are used in campaigns.
