Overview
As part of this successful, global organisation, one of its premium brands across Europe now requires an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who will join the European E-Business Team and have responsibility for developing the long term strategic vision and delivering the day-to-day execution of the performance marketing programs for the brand across Europe. The Role: Reporting to the E-Business Director for Europe, as the Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to: developing the short, medium and long term strategic roadmap that delivers against sales and traffic growth targets, whilst remaining profitable and within budget building and managing annual budgets, ensuring marketing costs remain in line with budgets building and maintaining strong working relationships with multiple third party digital agencies building and leveraging strong relationships with key publishers such as, but not limited to, Google and Facebook developing and overseeing the execution of all digital marketing technical requirements managing the day-to-day workflow of the Performance Digital Marketing program which includes key relationship building with agency partners and other broader teams managing the creation and distribution of the marketing calendar which includes promotional support, events, and core brand initiatives/launches Operating at a strategic level, as the Digital Marketing Manager for the brand you will be required to devise, implement and influence at all levels throughout the region. The Candidate: Ideally of graduate standard, from within a marketing or digital based discipline, candidates for the role of Digital Marketing Manager will also be required to demonstrate that they have: at least 5 years previous work experience within a digital marketing based role a proven track record of achieving required sales growth and traffic targets excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible and creative in a challenging environment strong project management skills a working knowledge of core performance digital marketing channels including SEO, Paid Search, Comparison Shopping Engines etc a working knowledge of technical SEO enhancements the capability to be a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive, professional, "can-do" attitude the ability to work as part of a team or under their own initiative, demonstrating that they are an organised and capable individual, who us used to multi-tasking and can prioritise their workload in order to meet exacting deadlines excellent attention to detail and a strong customer focus European language skills would be a benefit but are not essential, as would previous experience of working on a pan-European / international business basis. Candidates for the Digital Marketing Manager role should note that there may be travel within the European region with this role.
