Overview

We are looking for a driven individual who has experience of email marketing management to join our Partnerships and Insights Team. This person will be responsible for leading the overall email marketing strategy and managing all promotional email campaigns and marketing automation journeys we implement for our university partners. The role involves liaising with external stakeholders to recommend, plan, and execute email marketing strategies to maximise engagement and convert students along their journey to enrolment. The Marketing Automation Manager will also work closely with internal stakeholders, providing bespoke insight and analysis on email trends. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting and analysing data to ensure a proactive approach to improving the email strategy. This role involves researching, evaluating and driving improvements for email marketing activity. Experience using Pardot is mandatory, having certifications is preferred. Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to put forward ideas in a concise and influential way. Ability to act on own initiative and prioritise workload for the wider team Organisational and efficiency skills with the ability to manage several projects and campaigns at once. A highly analytical approach with an ability to evaluate ideas and information and suggest and implement best practices for improvements. Confident with presenting to a varied audience size. Strong understanding of data and segmentation. Specific Duties Have a high-level overview of all partners’ email communication strategies, and oversee all communications sent out on their behalf. Ensure consistent quality is upheld throughout all of the emails we deploy. Oversee all email marketing tasks logged in Jira, assigning tickets accordingly and managing the backlog. Manage the email marketing team in the UK and Manila, prioritising their workloads, and upskilling them on technical aspects of their roles. Report on email results to analyse trends and work proactively to continuously improve. Lead the team on innovations and optimisations to match and exceed the industry standard - including A/B Testing, dynamic content, and HTML/CSS updates. Present on email performance to various partner stakeholders at annual reviews and ad hoc meetings. Liaise closely with the internal Product Team to ensure effective management of data processes. Be the go-to person when it comes to understanding the platform and the process. Proactively problem-solve integration issues and other email marketing snags.
