You'll be responsible for having the right products in the range at the right time for sales and profit to be their best About the Responsibilities: Product-related market research, competitor analysis, product and service launch Internal training to a range of colleagues including salespeople Full product lifecycle including research and concept development and business case, phase in phase out, pricing and Continually developing the product portfolio against budgets (more NPI than NPD. Although product are manufactured internally overseas, contributions to local NPD is less so. Products are selected from HQ and adapted for the local market in relation to your research You will support in the management of high-profile claims escalated via Technical Support Support Marketing in the creation of market-leading customer focussed communications About the Requirements: You are likely to be a Product Manager or Category Manager looking for a quality company that's going places Ideally, you will have: Several years of Product/Category Management experience with a tangible product Product or Category experience from a manufacturer or a distribution background For the technical role, you could be from Automotive, Industrial, Construction, Electrical, HVAC, Engineering. Ideally a relatively technical product For the premium products and retail channel you are likely to be from consumer durables, Interiors or another product sold through retail (although not essential) Analytical, great with numbers but also confident with people Enthusiastic, passionate, wants to succeed Comfortable supporting salespeople About the Person: Excellent communication skills Innovative thinker Able to build relationships with colleagues and manage stakeholders effectively Professional, hardworking, needs success Happy in a lively sociable office About the Package: 35,000 - £40,000 25 days holiday (incl.
