Overview
This is an opportunity for a driven marketing professional to have real impact working in the marketing team for a fast-paced, growing, ambitious business. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the team across a number of marketing disciplines to attract, acquire, retain, and grow customers within our UK region. Key Accountabilities Supports the development and deployment of marketing programs to generate new customer demand and achieve current customer growth. Executes, monitors, and tracks marketing programs to ensure customer growth and acquisition costs are aligned with company goals. Works on large or small projects, from developing sales collateral, event coordination, and executing innovative programs that generate demand for our products and services. Interfaces and works closely with both internal and external partners and resources ensuring specific marketing plans are developed and executed to drive incremental growth. Proven track record of developing and maintaining robust sales enablement materials, including data sheets, case studies, product decks, training materials, newsletters, and any other tools needed to arm our sales team with the tools they need to close business. Executes marketing tactics that build awareness and drive growth, including e-mail, webinar, advertising, social media, events, etc. Proven track record of managing and coordinating event and tradeshow participation. Evaluates ROI of marketing tactics, campaigns, and channels. Key Requirements: General understanding of the overall media and measurement / analytics landscape, online advertising, and marketing trends. General understanding of Rackspace's strategic and competitive position. Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com and Marketing Automation tools (Marketo, etc.) highly desirable. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including analytical writing skills and the ability to create marketing copy. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment. Creative, proactive, energetic, detail-oriented, and analytic skills.
