Overview
Role title: Web Designer Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: London (Zone1) We are currently hiring for a Web Designer to join a fast growing and highly successful online media company to help them take the their brand to new heights In this role you will primarily be focused on creating market leading mobile and desktop friendly designs, as well as supporting email and sales campaigns. Your UI design improvements will be validated through A/B split and multivariate testing in order to optimise and improve the online user experience. The role also requires a high level of design and HTML knowledge, commercial awareness, and ability to work as part of a growing team of e-commerce and online marketing specialists. Essential requirements: ? Be an accomplished designer with 2 years experience in design roles, with a strong understanding of UX principles and techniques. ? Possess a good knowledge of the following tools; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, CSS ? Be a competent front-end coder, specifically HTML5, CSS 3, with knowledge of using JavaScript libraries and frameworks - any knowledge of React will be a bonus. If you know LESS and React we’ll like you even more. ? Understand A/B split and multivariate testing techniques. ? Be a commercially results driven, self-motivated individual with the interest and enthusiasm to keep up to date with industry trends and developments, and a track record of delivering results online ?
