Overview

3 days/week; FTE £35-40k (pro-rata: £21,000-£24,000) This is an opportunity to join an established and successful IT services company based in Farringdon. Their mission is to make their clients' IT work seamlessly, as well as being their trusted advisor when it comes to new IT developments, including the latest email, collaboration and file sharing cloud technologies. They have a diverse and energetic team of passionate and talented people and they are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join the business at a key point of planned growth. ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate would be someone who wants to make a difference in a growing SME environment with a focus on continuous improvement. THE ROLE: In this role, you will work closely with the Managing and Commercial Directors to promote the company to existing clients and to targeted clients and sectors, to Increase existing client awareness of their services with a view to increasing revenues/clients and enquiries from new clients You will be expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic when it comes to managing your time and achieving your objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - LinkedIn: ensuring their services, and key executives' profile are optimised. - Speaking and networking events: working with management determine which events to hold and attend, and co-ordinate all elements involved - invitations, marcom, follow up, and post event evaluation (2-4 events/year) - Marcom: manage creation and implementation of all marcom including Company and Service description documents, advertisements and advertorials (2-3/year), working with 3rd party suppliers, development of support materials - Website content management: keeping a watching eye on the website with a view to ensuring content freshness. Encouraging contributions from the team - Client presentations and tenders: working with management to create and format presentations and tenders - Competitor analysis and monitoring - Gain valuable insights on end-to-end customer experience and establish growth strategies for the company in line with company objectives SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: - Experience of using LinkedIn for business development purposes - 3 to 5 years' Marketing experience in a B2B environment working across most elements - Knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Word - Understanding of customer targeting and segmentation - Able to work collaboratively with internal teams. - Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field - A proactive approach with the ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised BENEFITS: - A competitive starting salary - 21 days' holiday, plus public holidays, plus your birthday - Learning and development opportunities - Pension scheme - Comprehensive private healthcare after 6 months - Birthday as an additional day off work - Regular team social events (bowling, pool, etc) - Beer o'clock every Friday afternoon - Monthly training day (with pizza) - Weekly fresh fruit
