Overview

Programme Controller Glasgow 3 months initial - Extension available Our client is one of the world's leading communications services companies, selling products and services that are integral to modern life. Key Skills: SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, planning and organising (proactive), SAP Role Tasks: Work closely with the Small works contractors and internal Project managers to provide an accurate high level view of all the projects within the programme and request updates on actions. Work with the project managers and programme managers to provide a consistent view of programme governance and reporting, including, schedules, RAID logs etc Extensive experience and knowledge of some or all of the following: Programme Plans- Assist PMs to align project plans to programme wide milestones and provide guidelines where appropriate, act as a conduit between the PMO and programme/project Managers. Extract project milestones from plans to provide a programme wide view of deliverables each week. Work with the Project Managers to report against any programme and cross-programme dependencies. Work with the Finance team and internal acquisition team to raise, track and receipt POs Report on slippage to programme and cross-programme deliverables, highlighted by PMs, weekly or ad-hoc, if required. Status reporting- Extract weekly project status reports from the tracking tools and Project Managers to create weekly Programme packs. Action log - Record and maintain action logs on daily or weekly programme reviews. Chase action owners, escalate to Programme Manager where appropriate. Document Management -Set up and manage SharePoint site, maintain contact lists, org charts and specific project files. Any of these responsibilities will require arranging of Programme workshops/programme presentation packs, booking rooms, taking minutes and actions and pro-actively chasing down across the programme.
