The Day Job Sopra Steria is recruiting for Client Director to support one of our major Financial Services Clients. This position will provide you with a key and integral role to the continued growth and success of Sopra Steria Financial Services business. The Client Director will be the first point of contact for the client and will own all opportunities and challenges within the relationship. They will develop close working relationships with the Sopra Steria delivery team working within the Client to maximise business and to develop, lead and deliver the strategy for designated major client, working with other internal stakeholders to deliver the organisation-wide strategy. The Client Director must possess a solid business understanding regarding the needs of their customers and how the financial services landscape is responding, changing and developing. The Client Director will have clear accountability for developing and implementing functional policies and procedures and would be expected to be advisors to senior managers in the business. Key Responsibilities Own and develop long-term client relationship with our client in order to position Sopra Steria as a strategic partner. Lead the development, ownership, and delivery of the strategy for our Client, gaining the necessary buy-in from the Sector and other internal stakeholders. Ensure that client plans are set up, implemented and reviewed on a regular basis. Identifying new areas within assigned client as potential for generating business and growing the client. Responsible for the forecasting and financial performance for their accounts. Identify and assist in developing propositions which will bring benefit to the customer and revenue growth for the organization. Help design and execute Sopra Steria services, solutions and propositions for designated client. Ensure that all avenues of resourcing are explored in order to deliver the required skills to the client and to participate in contractor/client negotiation to ensure placements/extensions are secured. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and perception are achieved and maintained. Provide client, market and competitor positioning information in order to feed into future propositions and overall Sector strategy. Essential Skills Excellent client management experience with the financial services market, including aligning account strategies to revenue opportunities. Development of new products/service solutions to meet future client/market needs. Creation and execution of focussed account development plans to maximise opportunity, define multi-level contact strategies, provide structured engagement and predictable business development. Build value-based client relationships across client/prospect organisations to maximise visibility, influence and effectiveness. Executive level relationship management. Encourages changes in the client organisation’s use of the products and services supplied to increase the benefits it obtains from them, and support client retention. Experience of working for a system integrator/ consulting or digital transformation partner.
