Overview

Central Employment are delighted to working with a leading UK provider of software solutions and services to the Retail sector. They have created a new role for a Business Development Manager (ePOS/SaaS) in order to support their growth and engage with new prospective clients on a newly developed software product. The Business Development Manager role: The Business Development Manager role will be primarily to develop the new software platform directly into SME retail businesses and some online hospitality organisations. There will also be opportunities to sell their Corporate Retail solutions to national retail brands New Business route to market: Direct lead generation through networking, LinkedIn and direct to customer Converting leads generated by marketing, including website leads, direct email shots and Social Media marketing and potentially 3rd party telesales leads. Referral schemes through 3rd party retail sales agents Development of partnership relationships with retail industry suppliers. Skills Required: Proven sales and commercially experience, ideally including B2B channels A background in eCommerce, epos and or SaaS sales due to nature of the product and business model Proven ability to generate own leads Strong territory/location sales management Good understanding of retail industry and key DMs and stakeholders Experience of working with third parties and developing partnerships Ability to understand technical solutions Good verbal and written communications Mature, self-motivated, confident, personable, intelligent, energetic
