Overview
A highly credited agency (shortlisted Agency of the year, in the top three of new business table and one of the most awarded agencies in Campaign) is looking for a Planning Director to work on a new key account. The client is a well-known UK organisation that has been voted best in its industry, with customers in the millions, it has hundreds of millions of profit each year and the ambition to double in size. Budgets are in the £10’s millions. You will also be responsible for the clients newly launched youth brand. This is suitable for someone with large brands and above the line experience. Someone who is comfortable with data to drive strategic response to growth, has greet comms experience and can pull the right people and teams together. Performance is 70% of what they do. You will be working in their vibrant new offices (opposite the tube with great shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance), there is a subsidised food hall with free breakfasts every day and a flexible working policy. This is a high-profile account; you will get great exposure to senior management and it will open up a lot of doors. Key requirements A strategic & inquisitive mind with a proven track record of using insight driven media planning to deliver on short and long term brand & business goals. Experience getting the most out of partner relationships & presenting new-to-market concepts Self-motivator, able to deliver from Conception to Analysis. Experience planning and optimising across performance digital media channels is a bonus but not essential Good understanding of the full channel mix & confidence to have such conversations Understanding of widely used industry research and benchmarking tools (TGI, Hitwise, Comscore) Working knowledge of tech stacks & platforms including DMPs & ad servers is a bonus but not essential Ability to work at a fast pace and alongside multiple stakeholders Experience across both brand and performance is a bonus but not essential Management experience; you will be managing a team of 2 Managers / executives Full job description available on request.
