Overview

Central Employment are working in partnership with a global integrated agency who offer key services across Marcomms, Digital and Design. They are looking to appoint a B2B Marketing & PR Account Manager, working alongside a team of talented PR/Marketing & Content Account Managers, reporting into the the Head of PR & Content. Purpose of the B2B Marketing & PR Account Manager: Manage a portfolio of integrated life science and pharma client retainer accounts. Devise, implement and track marketing and communications campaigns including tactics such as media relations and content marketing. Support with the delivery of client projects, including events organisation and digital and branding projects. Line management of account executive(s). Drive operational efficiency and improvements within the delivery of client work and our service portfolio. Responsibilities of the B2B Marketing & PR Account Manager: Account management of a portfolio of life science clients, building and maintaining relationships, growing and retaining client accounts and ensuring the on time and on budget delivery of world class work. Devising marketing communications strategies in line with client objectives. Tracking, analysing and reporting key metrics for campaigns and using these to inform strategy. Leading meetings and acting as a strategic advisor to clients. Managing, training and supporting junior team members to aid progression. Supporting with the creation and presenting of new business proposals and pitches when required. Implementing PR and content marketing campaigns for a portfolio of life science clients. Monitoring the media and proactively identifying opportunities for clients. Developing and suggesting ideas for creative content for clients. Assist in the PR planning process including researching and collating media lists, sourcing editorial calendars, feature tracking, researching client events and identifying speaking/sponsorship opportunities. Liaising with the media to sell in feature ideas and issuing press releases to journalists. Organising media interviews and preparing briefing documents for spokespeople. Researching, writing and reviewing content including press releases, blog posts, opinion pieces, case studies, social media content, whitepapers, award entries and articles etc. Creating content for social media channels and overseeing campaigns to ensure they are strategic and working to deliver client objectives. Assisting with the production of client marketing materials such as exhibition stands, newsletters, web content and other collateral as appropriate. Organisation of client events, including logistics and on-site management. Assisting the digital & design teams with content creation and messaging development requirements. Essential experience: The B2B account manager is a talented, motivated and well-organised individual with the skills and desire to lead the delivery of world class PR and content marketing campaigns. Knowledge of the latest industry trends is essential. This means you’ll have an excellent understanding of PR, digital marketing and other communications tools and insights into current/future trends to enable you to add value to client projects. You’ll understand the tools that can be used to monitor campaign success and have the ability to strategically advise clients on how to achieve their objectives. You’ll also be a strong copywriter with a focus on attention to detail. At least three years’ agency experience in a PR/content/marketing role. A degree (or equivalent) in a media, communications or marketing related subject. A willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
